Privacy Policy

CollegeFit (“we”, “us”) is a free college-prediction tool for Indian entrance exams. This policy explains what we collect and why. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information you give us

Most of CollegeFit works without any account or personal data. If you choose to submit the prediction/contact form, we collect the name and phone number you enter, together with your explicit consent to be contacted. Providing this is optional — you can browse all cutoff and predictor pages without it.

Information collected automatically

To protect the form from abuse and to understand aggregate usage, we store a hashed (non-reversible) form of your IP address with form submissions, and we use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Web Analytics / Speed Insights) that measure traffic without cookies or cross-site tracking.

How we use your information

• To respond to your request and help connect you with relevant colleges, universities, and admission counsellors.
• To contact you — by phone, SMS, WhatsApp, or email — with admission guidance and updates you consented to receive.
• To prevent spam and abuse of our forms and APIs.
• To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful and improve the site.

Who we share your information with

CollegeFit helps students connect with educational institutions. When you submit the form and consent to be contacted, we may share the details you provide (name, phone number, and the exam/rank/course preferences relevant to your query) with partner colleges, universities, and admission counsellors so they can offer you admission guidance. We share your details only for that purpose — not with unrelated advertisers — and we do not run third-party advertising trackers. By submitting the form you consent to this sharing and to being contacted by us and these partners.

Data retention & security

Your details are stored in a secured database with access limited to CollegeFit and the partner institutions/counsellors described above. We retain them only as long as needed to assist you with your admission query, and you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time (see below).

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data you submitted by contacting us at support@collegefit.in. Since providing your details is optional, you can also simply choose not to submit the form.
